11 Foreign Players Invited For Sierra Leone Friendly Dec.23

The Gambia Football Association (GFA) has succeeded in securing an International friendly match against Sierra Leone on December 23 in Banjul as part of preparation for the World and Nations Cup 2010 qualifiers. Seedy MB Kinteh, President of the Gambia Football Association, said the match is sponsored by Africell adding that Gambian Foreign players are expected to take part in the game. “We have invited foreign based players who will be free as the date is not on FIFA international calendar,” Mr Kinteh stated. He revealed that they have identified about 11 Gambian foreign players who will not be engaged on club duties and they will join the best local players for the game. Source: The Point
