The Regional Sports Committee of Western Region is not waiting for the national football governing body in the setting of date for the commencement of the league season before they start their third division qualifiers.

Lamin King Colley, Chairman of Western Region Sports Committee said his region will this year introduce a forth division qualifiers scheduled to start in early March. The five top teams, according to King Kolley, will be promoted to join other four teams that are already at third division pool.

He added: “This will pave way for another tournament where the finalists will qualify for the triangular tournament for the second division proper.”

Kolley said the qualifiers will include all Western Region teams adding that interested teams can register with the organising committee as soon as possible on a registration fee of D3, 000.
