The Global Unification (GU) Gambia is in preparation to successful hosting of the August campaign entitled, One Voice One Action one Africa.

This is geared towards promoting Universal Africa, awareness of the objectives of African Union and support the African leaders for a positive change in the continent, to unite for a common good and for the sake of humanity.

The release pointed out that “in our bid to host the campaign successfully in The Gambia, Global Unification The Gambia has constructed a nine member committee. GU Gambia is a legally registered association in The Gambia and is a chapter of Global Unification International.

Like its sister chapters worldwide, Global Unification The Gambia is a research development association with the sole objective of advancing humanity. To effectively realise the global objective, the release added that the association has divided its programmes into different domains. These include children welfare, youth welfare, women welfare, IT Centre and Advocacy, Lobbying and Campaign.

The committee has been confirmed on 16 May, 2007, headed by Anothony Mendy. GU Gambia’s participation will no doubt promote Tourism in the country.

Ebrima Dem, acting country representative commended the team leader for a good job.

Anthony Mendy was appointed as Campaign Co-ordinator, while Fatou Jeng, as Press and Publicity Officer.
