The Gambia Football Association (GFA) last week released the final standings of both the first and second division leagues of the 2006/2007 Football season.
The release confirmed Real De Banjul as First Division league champions.
The City Boys collected 35 points after their appeal against Wallidan FC was awarded to them, which resulted to the dropping of Wallidan from the second to the third place.
Gamtel finished second while the 2006 champions, GPA dropped at the fourth place.
In the second Division, Interior FC was also confirmed League winners with 35 points.
The GFA organising committee, finally trashed the most talked out second placed spot between Samger FC and Brikama United, out.
Instead of Brikama United, as reported earlier on, Samger has been confirmed promoted to the first division.
Both Samger and Brikama United collected each 33 points but Samger has a better goal different with +10 against +9.
