About 2 Million Dalasi Project Inaugurated in Latri Kunda Market

By The permanent secretary of the department of state for Local Government, Lands and Religious Affairs Mr.Abdoulie Manneh on Wednesday presided over the inauguration ceremony of two newly constructed shades funded by KMC at a tune of over D1.8 million at Latri Kunda Sabiji market.

Mr. Manneh thanked the KMC and the people of the area for what he called a job well done. He said that it’s always good for the councils to give back taxpayers their dues.

For his part, the Alkalo of Latri Kunda Sabiji LandingJatta expressed his happiness with the project.

Badou Fall market committee chairman thanked all those who in one way contributed to the success of the project particularly KMC. He said the shade would ease the burden of market vendors.

Pa Ousman Fatty Councilor Latri Kunda Sabiji Ward also commended the council for the project. He also hailed the community for their cooperation. He advice his people to pay their taxes on time. The market he said belongs to every body and every one should take good care of it.

Mayor of KMC Mr.Yankuba Colley said his council would always make sure that taxpayer’s money is given back to them. He assured the community of his office’s continued support.

Juju Cham a market vendor expressed their happiness for the shade.

Other speakers include the CEO of KMC Mr.Lai  Sanyang.

Pa Kalipha Sanayng PRO of council who chaired the ceremony describe the move as a big boost for the market.
