The Mandinari Youth and Sport commitee in collaboration with the German based renowned artist and collector Mrs  Ruthild Tillmann, recently concluded a two-day training on arts and other related artistic works.The two-day training session was not only meant to expose Gambian artists but also to sharpen their in the domain of painting. The workshop was punctuated  by an extensive arts exhibition featuring works of Mrs Ruthild Tillmann and other local artist.

Speaking to Arts and Culture Anchorman in Mandinari village, Mrs Ruthild Tillmann indicated that it marks the  begining of series of training sessions that will enable Gambian artists to be in tune with current in contemporary arts. ‘‘As an German artist I think it is important for us to share experience,’’ she noted.She then explained in details her work as an artist and the type of materials that she is using in painting adding that all her works have a meaning and depicts something important in life.
