Munazamat SG in Gambia visit

The Secretary-General of Munazamat Al-Dawa Al-Islamia, Sheikh Mohamed Ali Al-Amin is on a three-day official visit to The Gambia. He arrives in the Gambia on Monday 10th March 2008 from Senegal.

Sheikh Mohammed Ali Al-Amin, who is the chief executive of the parent body head-quartered in the republic of Sudan, is in The Gambia.

To familizarise himself with Munazamat’s activities within the West Africa region, and to support the on-going projects in the region undertaken by Munazamat regional office in The Gambia.

To meet with the relevant authorities in order to solicit The Gambia government support for the regional office in the implementation of its projects.

It should be noted that countries under the jurisdiction of The Gambia regional office include Senegal, Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Mauritania and The Gambia.

The  secretary-general’s engagements will be punctuated by a visit to Brusubi and Tanjie mosque projects, Munazamat school, and will also seize the opportunity to attend the
 
graduation ceremony of students of Munazamat non-formal Islamic education classes for women.

Sheikh Mohamed Moumin,  regional director, is expected to be received by  the secretary-general of the regional office and top officials, students and members of the public.

The Secretary-general leaves Gambia on Wednesday 12th March 2008.
