Ebou Sillah was born on 12 April, 1980, in The Gambia. The current skipper of the Gambia Scorpions, Sillah is also the most capped player in coach Paul Put’s 2010 World Cup and Nations Cup qualifier squad.
A former player of Real de Banjul, Ebou Sillah started his professional football with Belgium’s FC Brussels in 1996-1997season after a dazzling performance at the domestic league.
The 28-year-old crafted winger, who currently plays for MVV, a second division club in Holland, also had a successful stint with K.S.C. Blankenberge (Belgium), Club Brugge K.V] (Belgium), K.R.C. Harelbeke (Belgium), RBC Roosendaal (Netherlands) Rubin Kazan (Russia), Molenbeek Brussels Strombeek (Belgium) and Hapoel Petah Tikva FC (Israel).
Sillah, a Belgian passport holder, has been the Scorpions’ Mr Reliable in the past one decade - thanks to his consistent display.
