Abduction Case Continues

Mr Benjamin George recently testified in the ongoing abduction and conspiracy trial involving himself, Okenuwa Ockechu and Fatou Sarr.

In his testimony, the 2nd accused told the court that on 6th November 2008, he was in his room when the 1st accused Mr Ockechu went to him and informed him that he suspected that there was a white man in his house. He said he went to the 1st accused house and found the white man making love with the 1st accused wife Fatou Sarr. He revealed further that the 1st accused started beating his wife, adding that the white man started to beg and makes offer to the 1st accused.

Mr George further adduced that the white man offer D300,000, but issued a cheque of D100, 000 to the 1st accused. He said the 1st accused went to Gambia Arab Islamic Bank but he was unable to cash the cheque. He said later he was arrested by the police.
