Christian D Migan, president of the Association of Accountancy Bodies in West Africa (ABWA), who is also the president of the Institute of Benin, on Friday paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Aja Dr Isatou Njie-Saidy, vice president and secretary of state for Women’s Affairs, at her office in State House, Banjul.
Speaking to journalists shortly after having audience with the vice president, the ABWA boss said his visit was aimed at briefing Her Excellency on the activities of their association.
He revealed that their mission is to bring together all ECOWAS states and institutions, to enable them to harmonise the standard of the institute, among other things. ABWA comprises 14 member countries in West Africa. Christian Migan was accompanied to State House by members of his association.
