Monday, July 27, 2009

The second prosecution witness, Ousman Badjie, recently testified in the ongoing accident case involving one Abdoulie Ndure before Principal Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.

Testifying, Ousman Badjie told the court that on the 10th December 2007, he was working with the accused Abdoulie Ndure. He revealed that upon arriving at Kotu after the bridge, the driver in front of their vehicle suddenly applied his brakes. He adduced that the accused applied the brakes and upon realizing that the brakes failed he swerved across the road and eventually collided with another vehicle.

He added that as a result two people lost their lives.

The case was adjourned to 29th July 2009.
