Another Point Reporter Arrested

Augustine Kanjia, a reporter and columnist with this paper was yesterday afternoon arrested while trying to take pictures of the crowd outside the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court during the trial of fellow journalists who are standing trial on three counts of seditious publication. At time of going to press he was still detained at the Serrekunda Police Station. Efforts to secure his bail were not successful. Source: Picture: Augustine Kanjia
