Assault, Threatening Violence Trial CommencesMonday, September 07, 2009
The trial of one Ebrima Gassama who is charged with threatening violence and assault recently commenced at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, presided over by Magistrate Lamin George. Count one stated that, on 20th August 2009, at Bakoteh Lay-out the accused Ebrima Gassama, with intent to intimidate and annoy had threatened to kill one Bakary Jadama with a cutlass. While count two revealed that, on 23rd August 2009, at Bakoteh Layout the accused unlawfully assaulted one Ebrima Camara, a police officer in the due execution of his duties. He denied the charges.
