Week four of the Banjul Nawettan is currently in session with a demonstration of equal contenders.

Teams like Fire House, Green House, Makann bi and Dortmund are notably tough sides eyeing for this year’s title.

Greenhouse FC humiliated Young Lions FC of Kanifing 3-1 in Sunday’s clash.

Greenhouse FC opened the game by putting a lot of pressure on their opponents .Both teams played a fantastic football in the first 15 minutes until Greenhouse FC Omar Jarju, alias Chumpy opened the scoring in the 16th minute, with a low drive which saw the ball at the back of the net. Later on, in the 27th minute, Greenhouse FC was awarded a penalty, which powerful striker Muhammed Badjie alias, “Boy Boy” scored to see his side 2 goals ahead of their opponents.

Later in the second half, Young Lions FC began to come back in the game and also made some goal attempts until the 9th minute in to the second half, when Young Lions FC’s Theo scored from a brilliant shot to give his side hope. Greenhouse FC felt unsecured, so they again started putting pressure on their opponents until in the 86th minute of play, when substitute striker Ebou Lie scored from a shot to seal the victory for his side.

On the same day, RANKIN UTD lost to Makannbi 3-1 while Ngoyan beat Hagan UTD with the same goal margin.
