Banjul South NAM on ‘New Gambia’

Nyang, the advent of the July 1994 revolution heralded a new way of life for Gambians, noting that life for the citizens before this “great revolution” was beyond expectations.

The new Gambia, he said, has generated good governance, good laws and a new way of life for the citizens. According to him, the achievements of the Jammeh Administration since the birth of the new Gambia cannot be overemphasised. He went on to stress that the developments registered are conspicuous.

The Banjul South NAM then used the opportunity to hail President Jammeh for his brilliant address during the state opening of this legislative year, describing it as ‘state of the nation address.’ He also commended the president for his effort in highlighting the achievements of his government in 2008, and went further to applaud him for outlining laudable development projects to be sanctioned in the course of the year 2009.
