An intensive campaign for ‘operation support the Under-17’ heats up as the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) has come up with their own initiative geared towards supporting our darling Under-17 all the way to Nigeria .

This development was revealed by the National Sports Coordinator at the Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education, Musa Mendy, in an interview with this reporter at his residence in Dippa Kunda.

According to Mr Mendy, all students attending both public and private schools, from Early Child Education to the Senior Secondary Schools, will contribute financially towards the success of this event and all madrassa schools in Regions One and Two, should pay their contributions to the main Amana office in Kanifing.

Region 3 to 6 schools should pay their contributions to the various regional education directors. Mr. Mendy informed that the last day for contribution is on the 26th June 2009 and all the regional directors and Amana office in Kanifing should submit their contributions to the office of the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education after 26th June 2009 .
