The prosecution’s fourth witness, Landing M. Sanneh, Assistant Registrar of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, on 27th July 2009, testified in the ongoing criminal trial involving one Saikou Gibba.

Saikou Gibba was a prosecution witness in the ongoing criminal trial involving Babucarr Jallow and Demba Sowe, former operatives of the National Intelligence Agency.

After his testimony, he was arrested and later charged with the offence of perjury and giving false information.

Testifying, Landing Sanneh told the court that he knows Her Worship Kumba Sillah-Camara and he also knows that there was a case before her, which he said, is now being transferred to Magistrate Olajabutu Kayode of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court. When asked by the State Counsel S.H. Bakun, whether he is familiar to the hand writing and the signature of Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara, he answered in the affirmative.

At that juncture, he was shown the photocopy of the testimony of Saikou Gibba, which he identified and read the contents to the court.

The case was adjourned to 4th August 2009.
