Mr. Seedy Dem, President of Cattle Farmers Association who also doubles as the 4th vice president of the National Farmers Platform under livestock has revealed that the rate of cattle rustling in Western Region has reduced significantly.

Mr. Dem made these revelations recently in an exclusive interview with this reporter at the National Farmers Platform Secretariat in Kanifing.

He attributed this to the massive sensitization carry our by his organization in the area plus the effective security operation in the area as well as prosecution of perpetrators.

He called on the people of the area to work closely with the security and his association to maintain the momentum.

He said that his association is involved in the livestock business but however expressed dissatisfaction with the current trend of the livestock market which he said is been dominated by foreigners.
