Duo Arraigned for Burglary

Two men were recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh charged with shop breaking and stealing.

According to the charge in the month of May 2009 at Nema-Kunku village, the accused persons Bubacarr Jabang and Muhammed Saho with intent to commit a felony, broke and entered the shop of Ebrima Njie and Ousainou Njie, therein stole items worth D16, 650 being the property of the said Ebrima Njie and Ousainou Njie.

When the charge was read to them in the language they elected to speak they pleaded guilty.

They were remanded in custody.
