GFA Inter Academy Kicks-off Tuesday, September 15, 2009 The Gambia Football Association organised Inter Academy Football tournament got underway last week in different venues across the country. All participating teams ranging from U-13 and U15 categories are so far demonstrating a high sense of discipline and maturity. The latest fixture could be descried as a titanic encounter when Jatta’s FC of Brikama suffered a 2-0 defeat against Tallinding. The second game that was expected to feature Sohna’s academy could not hold following the withdrawal of The U-15 category is also producing some wonderful and exiting moment of brilliant academy football. KOKO Five Academy hope of repeating the same success against Bala proved futile when they suffered a 3-1 defeat in the hands of the opponents.
