The services of Magistrate Johnny Njie have been terminated as of 14 November 2008.

This information was contained in a press release sent to media houses by the Judicial Service Commission and signed by Haruna Jaiteh, the judicial secretary. The full text of the release is published below.

The Judicial service commission has, with effect from 14th November 2008, terminated the service of Mr  Johnny Ayoub Njie, first class magistrate at the Bundung Magistrate Court. The commission found the conduct and behaviour of the magistrate to be incompatible with the functions and status of that important judicial office.
