In the super cup Wallidan’s Muhammed Kona was sent off, Kaba Jobe of Gamtel, Ablie Sidibeh and Abdou Ceesay, both of Bakau United, received red cards, Omar Jallow, alias Luis, of Sait Matty was also sent off against Real at Manjai Mini Stadium and Baboucarr Bajan and Babou Sambou of the Armed Forces were sent off for unprofessional play.

The assistant coach of Africell/Sait Matty, Ousman Janneh Alias Charles, elucidated that his game with Real de Banjul, was combative because both teams were prepared both physically and mentally to win.

Coach Janneh admitted that as they are committed to deliver, “we are going back to work on our tactics in order to improve the game and our goal scoring techniques”.

Coach Janneh continued to explain that the first two games are experimental and allows the coaching staff to know their players’ weaknesses. He assured fans that they will improve to gain results.
