NAS Ends Validation Seminar on NSFWednesday, May 13, 2009 The National Aids Secretariat in conjunction with various stakeholders within the country, has recently concluded a three-day validation seminar on the Speaking at the closing ceremony, the director National Aids secretariat [ NAS] ,Mr Alieu Jammeh , said NSF 2009-2013 is a major objective and provides an evident base and result-based on management response framework. He revealed that owing to the limited data available for this purpose it will be necessary to conduct some research and obtain data base for monitoring of indicators in many areas. He further revealed that NSF data monitoring phase is divided into two. For his part, the president Santa Yallah Society, Lamin Momo Ceesay,thanked the National Aids Secretariat and all those who contributed towards the success of the seminar, adding that the seminar will go a long way in contributing to the alleviation of HIV\AIDS in The Gambia.
