Honorable Maimuna Sarr, the Speaker of NYP has called on the government, private sector, in particular GSM companies, hotels and banks to invest more on youths for sustainable development.

According to her, NYP was created to serve as an advocacy network of young people, thus inculcating responsible citizenship into the youths so as enable them contribute to nation building. Bakary Badgie, the Chairperson of KM Youth Committee applauded NYP for the initiative.

Honourable Lamin Marong, Chairperson of the Municipal Organizing Committee, chaired the occasion.
