Our prayers are for you, Mr President

Editor,

Thank you, Mr Editor. Every week I have something to read from the Daily Observer to make me proud and feel home sick. This is all possible through our able leader, Professor Dr Alhaji Yahya Jammeh. I just read on the news about the arrival of two new generators this weekend, boosting the energy sector of the country. With you, Mr President, I am confident that Gambia will meet its Vision 2020 goals, turning it into a self reliant country. With you I know a lot is yet to come.

Mr President, thousands of Gambians like me are away, but all the time our wishes and prayers are for your good health and for the rapid development of the country. I wish you all the best, and I pray that God will continue to protect and guide you.

Daily Observer, continue the good work. There is no day I don’t visit your website.  I always feel like home when I read positive news. During my last visit, when the plane was landing at the Banjul International Airport, I thought I was landing in London, seeing lights everywhere. I started smiling and saying to myself there is lot more to see in town and I was not wrong. Mr President, those of us abroad will always remember you and your government in our prayers.
