Pap Saine the Managing Editor and Co-publisher of The Point Newspaper has been asked to report to the Banjul Police Station this morning.

Mr Saine was detained on Monday 2ndFebruary 2009 in connection with an article published in The Point News paper captioned “Arrested Gambian Diplomat Now at Mile 2”.

Saine who reported yesterday as instructed and spend several hours waiting, was again told to report this morning. He has since been released on bail.
