Sopey City Limits Radio Donates to Campama

Sopey City Limits Radio on Saturday presented a handsome donation to Campama Psychiatric Centre in Banjul as part of the Sopey human train gesture to the people who deserve it at the right time.

The delegation, composed of more than 20 members of Sopey City Limits, was led by the managing director of City Limits Radio, Mr Baboucarr Cham.

The donated items included clothes, soap and bread.

Speaking at the presentation, held at Campama, the secretary general of Sopey City Limits revealed that they are delighted to present these materials to Campama, adding that these will help to compliment the efforts of the authorities.

According to him, nobody wants to see him or herself at Campama noting that this was what motivated the Sopey City Limits to present this small donation to the people of Campama.

He prayed to Allah for them to make a speedy recovery.

For his part, Mr Baboucarr Cham, managing director of City Limits said that they were at Campama to show their sympathy and a helping hand and that Sopey will continue its efforts in giving aid to Campama.

He thanked Mr Ann, officer in charge of Campama, and his team for the service they are providing. Mr Cham finally thanked all those who contributed to the donation while assuring those gathered of his support.

Speaking earlier, Mr Modou Ann, officer in charge of Campama, commend the benevolent gesture of Sopeh City Limits and their timely donation.

Mr Ann noted that people should emulate Sopey for the good work and called on people not to forget their relatives in Campama adding that Sopey City Limits is very concerned about Campama which the donation manifested.

Other speakers during the visit included Serign Modou Adu Sillah, adviser and Auntie Haddy Njie organising committee secretary.
