Three-day Coaching Course Kicks-Off

A three-day coaching course for football coaches is underway at BerendingLowerBasicSchool organized by Berending Youth and Sports Committee.

The aims and objectives of the course are to equip participants with new skills and techniques in modern coaching and the course brought together 15 participants from across the village.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the president of Berending Youth and Sports Committee, Lamin Demba, said the course is organized to improve and develop the skills of the coaches in the village.

He stated that BYSC will continue to work hard for the way of football in Berending and he assured the participants that they will continue to stage a series of training courses for football coaches in Berending.

He advised the participants to take the course seriously and make good use of the knowledge gained from the course.

For his part, Buba Sanyang a participant, applauded BYSC for organizing the course, adding that it will go a long way in improving and developing young coaches in Berending and he thanked BYSC for the valuable contribution to the development of sports in the village. He urged them to keep up the challenge and assured the committee that the knowledge gained from the course will be properly put to good use.
