Tijan Jaiteh hires new agent

Gambia international Tijan Jaiteh has agreed terms with a new agent, ending several months of being an agent-less player, Observer Sports has reliably gathered.

The 20-year old combative midfielder, who plies his route with the Norwegian First Division club SK Brann, had parted company with his former agent, Per-Ove Ludvigsens, just a few months after his purported moves to the English Premier League sides, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland, fell through last year.

However, it became clear that the former Gambia Ports Authority prodigy has signed agent agreement with another agent in Stig Lillejord. His new representative, agent Lillejord, said his primary task is to provide appropriate advice to the Gambian whom, according to him, has been distracted by the numerous calls he had been receiving from other  agents chasing his signature.

Agent Lillejord said of his client: “My impression is that Tijan in the period where he was without counsel felt uncertain, not least because many agents called him and offered their services. My task is to provide appropriate advice to him.  He is a talented player who needs the right advice.”
