We must put an end to infanticide

Incidents of infanticide are becoming too worrying and if nothing urgent is done about it, our future as a nation may be destroyed.  Before proceeding, let us look at infanticide at a wider perspective. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, infanticide is the killing of a child.

This is very painful and inhuman. Children are the future leaders and this must be remembered always. They are among the most vulnerable members of society and therefore deserves our utmost protection.  The innocent child you are killing can become someone very important in society tomorrow.  Allah will judge those who commit such evil acts and they shall receive eternal punishment.

I believe that such inhuman acts are mostly practised in our homes.  As we all know charity begins at home and whatever a child learns from home is most likely to remain with the individual for the rest of his or her life. Such inhuman acts are becoming rampant in this country.  I think something needs to be done to put a stop to this type of unfortunate occurrence.  People should be vigilant and report such brutal deeds to the police whenever it happens.
