Eco Bank 14 receive treasury training

At least, 14 staff members of Eco Bank, from the sub-region, recently concluded a two days training on treasury sales (customer management) at the Ocean Bay Hotel in Cape Point, Bakau.

The participants were drawn from The Gambia, Senegal, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Cote D’voire, Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Benin, Togo, Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso.

Speaking to the Daily Observer, Lamin Sanneh, Group Head of Treasury Sales for Eco Bank, said, Eco Bank operates business treasury sales in almost 21 countries in Africa, thought its imperative to equip their staff on treasury sales (customer management), to enable them deliver as expected with in the competitive market.

Mr Sanneh observed that the bank’s industry is competitive, and that the strategies they develop, should also be in line with the needs of their customers.

He highlighted that Eco Bank, with its mission, to build a world class African bank and to contribute to the economic and financial development of Africa, highly values its customers and that they will keep up the good relationship with their customers.

The 35 years old Gambian banker said “we have just opened in The Gambia and we feel that The Gambia is an important market for us and that we would like to expose The Gambia across the African continent. We also feel that the facilities in The Gambia are adequate for such an important gathering”, he concluded.
