The Gambia Football Association will meet the representatives of the various nawettan zones today at the Independence Stadium, Bakau, to dilate on the forthcoming Super Nawettan Championship, better known as Zonal Football Championship.

Abdou Salaam Jammeh, CAF Education Officer at the Gambia Football Association told Observer Sports that today’s meeting with the nawettan zone representatives will centre on how to successfully hold the forthcoming zonal tournament. He said the meeting could also set a date for the keenly-awaited championship.

  Serrekunda East won last year’s Zonal Cup after edging out the Brikama side in the final.
