Serrekunda East nawettan season has reached its climax with both the league and knock-out finalist confirmed. One team in both finals are Maccassa United, who have been widely tipped to have the chance to clinch double this season.

The Macassa side will meet the Tallinding giants, FC Milan in the grand Western Union sponsored league final on November 4, at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

However, Macassa would have known their knock-out fate, before the league final as they prepare to square-up against Bantaba FC of Faji Kunda in the knock-out final on Sunday, October 27.

Macassa reached the knock-out final, after edging out Culture United in the semis, while Bantaba went through at the expense of London Corner club, FC Wales.

With the presence of two crafted former under-players - Habib Kunta and Abdourahaman Dampha - in the Macassa line-up, many football enthusiasts in Serrekunda East have concluded that the knock-out cup is already Macassa’s.
