GNL Continues Setting the Pace![]() Monday, March 03, 2008 The Gambia National Lottery (GNL), in its efforts to combat youth unemployment and alleviate poverty in The Gambia, continues to set the pace with another seven people claiming a mouth watering jackpot of more that D198,400. Each of the winners received D44,345 at a presentation ceremony held at the company’s headquarters in Banjul recently. Speaking at the ceremony the Managing Director, Mr. Dembo Fanta Bojang, expressed his delight and thanked the media for their role in disseminating vital information to the public. He further thanked the lucky winners for patronising GNL and urged them to continue doing so. He said that there will be many more prizes up for grabs in the future.
