Court martial set for judgment![]() Wednesday, April 11, 2007 Justice Akomaye Agim announced yesterday that he will deliver his judgment in the court martial case of the ten accused plotters of the March 21st coup attempt on Thursday April 19, 2007.
Justice Akomaye Agim is the presiding judge for the case. He made his announcement at the Yundum Military Barracks yesterday, after nearly six months of intensive court martial proceedings. The ten accused persons are; Captain Bunja Darboe, Captain Yaya Darboe, Captain Wassa Camara, 2nd Lieutenant Pharing Sanyang, Captain Abdou Karim Jah, Captain Pierre John Mendy, Lieutenant Momodou Alieu Bah, Corporal Samba Bah, Lance Corporal Babu Janha and Private Alagie Nying. The defence team has also filed a motion for the return of properties belonging to the ten accused persons.
