The two men, who allegedly stole three sheep in Brikama in June of this year, have now been charged.
Ebrima Gassama and Sankung Gibba on Monday, last appeared before Magistrate John Njie on suspicion of stealing three ewes in Brikama Nema on 7 June 2007, but when the charges were read to them, they pleaded not guilty.
The case resumes December 4th but to enable the duo go about their normal businesses as their case proceeds, each was given bail in the sum of D3000 and must have Gambians who meet the bail requirements as sureties.
