Magistrate Mbai Toughens Stance

Magistrate Edrisa Mbai of Brikama Magistrates’ Court is showing no indication of let-up in extending the long arm of the law to the violators of the Drug Control Act. The senior magistrate lately convicted and sentenced a 55-year-old man to pay a fine of D1million and any default in fine payment may mean he would go to jail for ten years.
