Suspect Placed Under Custody

The Brikama Magistrates’ Court recently issued an order for the placement of one Nfamara Darboe under police custody, pending the outcome of his case. Nfamara was arraigned before Magistrate John Njie to enter a plea over an allegation of stealing. According to the facts of the case, as narrated in court, the accused had in September of last year stolen a video player, radio and D10,000 from one Demba Bah of Farato village. He denies any wrongdoing and would undergo trial soon.
