Senior Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara of the Bundung Magistrates Court, on Wednesday remanded one Muhammad Ceesay, a Guinean national, to the State Central Central at Mile II.
Mr Ceesay, who was arraigned before the court for being in possession of materials used in counterfeits, has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 3rd January, 2008, at around 8:00 am in Kololi, the accused was found with the following: one bundle of white papers cut into D100 note sizes, one bundle of black papers, three ‘sello’ tapes, one flashlight and four bottles of a liquid, suspected to be chemical.
Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara adjourned the case to June 2008 to enable the police prosecutor, Sergeant 438 Badjie, to open his case.
