Dr MC Pherson and his friend Mr Chris Dean had also donated a loudspeaker to enable villagers of Juffureh hear calls from a distance to their daily prayers.

He also held talks with the villagers as to how the Marcus Garvey School staff, students and parents could assist the village children. Dr MC Pherson, also spoke on his resolve to raise funds for the school, and possibility of meeting pen pals.
