As Face of Africell , Face of Gambia Girls Spotted There
New Look Salon, located along the boisterous Kairaba Avenue, is currently a beehive of activities as they now entered what seems to be a peak season. For the past few days, the wave-making salon has been receiving unprecedented number of customers in the history of the beauty centre.
Just yesterday, a bevy of 30 young, breath-snatching girls who are competing for the winner in the much-hyped FACE OF AFRICELL alongside 20 extremely outgoing and larger-than-life belles vying for the FACE OF THE GAMBIA crown spearheaded by the new telecom operator, COIMUM, were found at New Look Salon doing hair styles, make-ups and other outlook enhancements.
Despite the massive turnout of clientele, the ever- courteous, highly-trained and greatly-talented staff of New Look Salon were, as usual, busy like ants putting finishing touches to help these beauties to look effortlessly chic.
Speaking to this reporter, the calm-looking and publicity-shy manageress of New Look Salon, Mariam Kaky, said that they are profoundly impressed with the level of public patronage, saying that they are always poised to live up to expectations of their teeming clientele.
She said at New Look Salon, they are endowed with both staff with experiences benefiting the business temperaments and a handful of state-of-the-art equipment, adding that these have contributed in no small measure toward putting them in good stead in the highly-competitive market.
She stated: “Despite the huge number of customers coming here day in day out, we are able to attend them satisfactorily. This is all the more reason why companies and individuals are contracting us because we deliver fast, efficient and effective services at pocket-friendly rates.”
Asked about how she felt Africell and COMIUM going all-out to patronise them, the indefatigable New Look Salon manageress said : “We feel good about that because there many salons in this country but they decided to come here, that alone, speaks volume of our enviable hard-earned track-record of diligent service and excellence.”
Some of the customers who spoke to this paper described New Look Salon as the premier beauty salon in The Gambia. They said that the place is clean, spacious and cozy, adding that they their staff are hard to find anywhere on the planet earth.
It would be recalled that New Look Salon formerly located near Sultan Sweets and Restaurant has been recently relocated to an imposing storey-building opposite Sawalo Couture as part of efforts to relentlessly deliver sterling services to their valued clientele.
In fact, there is no gainsaying the fact that since its relocation, the talk-of-the-town salon has continued to attract customers from all walks of life including senior government officials, bankers, models, students and high profile business ladies.
Meanwhile, New Look Salon is owned by one of the country’s most successful entrepreneurs, Madam Femi Al-Ahmar, a wife to a Syrian multi-millionaire, Muhammed Al-Ahmar. Mr Muhammed as he is best known is the proprietor and CEO of AL-Ahmar Group in The Gambia.
