FMK in the Dock

Thursday, July 12, 2007

FMK, a drilling company located on 2 West Street in Kanifing, is now embroiled in a legal tussle for alleged breach of contract.

According to Muhammed Sisoho, who instituted the legal action against the company, he had entered into a contract with FMK company for the purchase of his car. He informed the court that the company had agreed to buy his car at the sum of D135,000 and that a payment of D10,000 was made for the maintenance of the vehicle.

The car was consequently handed over to the company only to be informed by the company representative that they are no more interested in buying the car. I am now claiming D125,000 from the company to offset the amount charged,” he informed the court presided over by magistrate Babucarr Secka of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court and the case continues.
