One Alieu ceesay was on Thursday paraded before Sagarr Jahateh of the Kanifing Magistrates Court charged with issuing a false cheque.

According to the particulars of the offence, Alieu Ceesay in February 2008 issued a cheque for D18,000 to one Momodou Jallow knowing that the amunted stated was not  in his account .The case was adjourned to 22nd January 2009.

Police prosecutor, Inspector Fadera appeared for the IGP.
