The director general of the presidential medical programme, who also doubles as the director of Medical and Health Services, Doctor Tamsir Mbowe, has announced Thursday, August 14, 2008, as the date for the official discharge of the third, forth and fifth batches of patients who have been undergoing His Excellency, President Alhajie Dr Yahya Jammeh’s HIV/AIDS treatment program.

 The ceremony is set to take place at the home village of the president, Kanilai, at 4pm. The general public is being informed that His Excellency, the president, is inviting everyone to witness the discharge ceremony.
