Officers Wives’ Association of the Gambia Armed Forces on Monday night donated cash amounting to D20, 000 to Operation Canada 2007.

The money was presented to the Gambia Football Association Marketing Committee by Mrs. Sireh Tamba, the wife of the First vice president of the Gambia Football Association and Chief of Defense Staff of the Gambia Armed Forces Col. Lang Tombong Tamba, at the President Jammeh Join Officers Mess in Kotu during the draw of the fifth edition of the Darling of the Fans Initiative.

The money was received by Col. Lang Tombong the vice president of the GFA and Chairman of the GFA Marketing Committee.

In a related development, the Scorpions Fan Club also bought 50 tickets amounting to D2, 500 during the draw on Monday.They bought the same number of tickets last week.

Gamcel/Gamcel came in Monday draw with 50 tickets.

In the Darling of the Fan Initiative, Ousman Jallow came out first again for the fifth time in a raw followed by Momodou Ceesay alias Zico and Sainey Nyassi claimed the third position.
