Three tickets To Canada Won

Two Africell and one Gamcel line holders were the lucky winners of the three tickets for Canada in the weekly draw of the Darling of the Fans initiative, a fundraising program dedicated to The Gambia U-20 on their road to Canada Campaign.

 7212504, 9804829 and 7218946 were the numbers that emerged during the final draw for the darling of the fans initiative which was held on Monday at the joint officer’s mess in Kotu.

These numbers are offered free boarding, accommodation while in Canada and tickets to watch both local and international football matches in The Gambia.

The prize being awarded to ticket numbers and SMS winners was the first such initiative.

As the total number of the draw was called, Ousman Jallow registered the highest with 41,402 votes followed by Momodou Ceesay (Zico) with 12,060 votes and the third place was Sainey Nyassi with 6,500 votes.

The final draw saw a very big turn-out, and present were the national U-20 team, Secretary of State for Youth ,Sports and Religious Affairs Sheikh Omar Faye, Senegalese superstar Assan Njie, Brigadier General Lang Tombong Tamba, Gambian musical artists, communication companies, and football fans.
