As Reliance Inaugurates new Branch in Tanji

In line with its mission of delivering innovative, value added and unrivalled services to its customers, Reliance Financial Services yesterday inaugurated a new Branch in Tanji, Kombo South District, and Western region.

The opening of this well equipped Reliance Branch, seen by many as a mile stone development in the country’s financial industry, demonstrates Reliance’s pride in joining the already bustling financial services industry. The group remains cognisant of the important and pivotal role the banking industry plays in the functioning of the economy and development of humanity.

Speaking at the inauguration Mr Baboucarr Khan, Chief Executive Officer with Reliance Financial Services, underscored the importance his institution attaches to the development of small and medium enterprises in the country.

According to Mr. Khan, Reliance central focus is to empower, encourage and support low-income earners in their drive towards the attainment of their dreams and aspirations and thus contribute meaningfully towards the development of the country’s economy.

The Chief Executive Officer of Reliance however called on the community of Tanji and its environs to save their money with Reliance Financial Services, adding that it will help them achieve their desired goals in future.

For his part, Mr Abdou FM Badjie, Governor of Western Region hailed Reliance Financial Services for the initiative which he said would greatly support and empower small-scale business in Tanji and in the surrounding area.

Also speaking earlier, Baboucarr Sarr, General Manager, Tanji Fisheries project expressed delight at the setting up of this branch by Reliance which, according to him, will help the people.

The Inauguration ceremony was witnessed by the Chief of Kombo South Alhagie Sheriff Ajeh Janneh and a cross section of the community.
