Carmarthen Town’s Uefa Cup campaign ended with another heavy defeat to Norwegians Brann Berger in the second leg of the first qualifying round tie.
The home side was 4-0 up after 32 minutes as striker Robbie Winters, who hit a hat-trick in the 8-0 first-leg win, scored twice in six minutes.
Goals from Danny Thomas and Tim Hicks either side of half-time gave the Old Gold hope of avoiding another mauling.
But the home side added another two, only for Hicks to have the last say.
The aggregate score is a record defeat for a Welsh Premiers side in European competition.
