The clamour for the support and promotion of African music has of late received a big boost with the launching of a special dance show by a Cameroonian-born Disc Jockey, DJ Owl of West Coast Radio.

The show, tagged African Night, is organised every Friday at the Jokor Garden, Westfield.

According to DJ Owl, a popular presenter at the Manjai kunda-based broadcasting house, the African Night is launched with the sole aim of promoting African music as well as providing a melting pot for Africans and lovers of African music to meet and interact.

He said that all and sundry are invited to the show, adding: “ If you are looking for a place to enjoy in the weekend, look no further than Jokor Garden.”
