In a move to test the level, strength and performance of the National female selection team geared towards the formation of a national team, a friendly match was staged last weekend between the National female selection and Akubo United at the Abuko Middle School Football Field.

Saturday’s friendly was a very interesting encounter and two goals from Veronic Malack led Abuko United to victory.

According to the Sainey Jammeh Chairman of GFA Female football Committee, the test match is part of series of matches planed for the team before engaging into a final selection of the national Female team.
